Vanessa Lawson was born in Concord, California, just half of an hour from San Francisco. She was raised in rural Harrison County in Southern Indiana. She attended the Herron School of Art (part of IUPUI) for 3 semesters. She transferred to IUS where she studied Fine Art (printmaking, drawing, painting, etc.). Vanessa graduated with a B.A. in Psychology.

     She has been drawing for as long as she can remember. She's currently working for a company called Anguish as a T-shirt designer, and completes commission requests as she recieves them.
